The space was dug yet now it is filled. But it can never return to the previous state of emptiness or wholeness. The landscape is now altered.
At one point, in every court, building, road, and square we’ve stood on: a wheel, a foot, a shovel was present: a track, a cavity, a hole was created; filled with rainwater and emptied, refilled with a matter more to our liking.
The very land we stand on has been re-shaped and molded within an indistinct and incomprehensible scale.
