About

Blending sculpture, breath, and movement, the piece draws on mythology, instinct, and the enduring weight of female sacrifice. At its core, a sentient braid sculpture lies still yet thrumming, rooted in a folk myth where a maiden severs her hair to save her brothers.

The sculpture unfolds a liminal space—part portal, part prison—animating themes of  rage, feminine freedom, and the soft, fluid resistance of staying alive.
